video editing
Today, I made a video by editing it on final cut pro. I made it so it would have sound and cool imagery. I used a razor tool, black arrow tool, and other tools. I also edited it from beginning to end. I like this program more than than adobe flash, so you can see more screen shots or actual videos.
First time
This week, I used this new program called
CINEMA 4D. Basically, I am creating CGI. I
haven't finished the other two projects yet, which
are the coffee table and the lobby chair. He three
objects that you see are the ipod, imac, and the
couch. I had a difficult time creating this, but I
got used to it. Most of the objects involved me
mishaping and deforming polygons. Next week I
will update this post.
Final Exam
This week, I had to take my final exam, it was that I had to create a chess set. I had a board, floor, and a picture of the 6 kinds of chess pieces. Pawn, knight, bishop, rook, king, and queen. I built the 6 chess pieces, by using the free hand spline and drawing half of the piece and creating a lathe nurbs to create the second half of the object. Some, I had to use an extrude nurbs to make it bigger. Some, I had to use a boole object to cut out some of the object to get the cool effect. After that, I added an array light and then added a chrome floor. I also added color to the chess pieces. And added a cool glass effect to make the pieces glass. Then I rendered it and turned it in. And posted the jpeg image on this blog. I will post more next year, because I will be in 3d animation making 3d objects and a two minute movie.
This blog post is not classwork, it is something that I did in class today. I did this high resolution American flag to honor the 4th of July that is coming up. I did the art history brush again, and I made it look like a painting. It also took me the entire class, to do this so, thank you veterans for serving our country and the men that fought veside you on the battlefield. Have a Happy Summer Vacation. And have a Happy 4th of July.

This is my project that I made this week as my first official 3D Animation projects in class. It was very simple to create. The bottom picture I made with simple shapes and different shaders including glass. The upper picture was the same but kinda more complicated, because I used different textures instead of shaders including a bamboo texture on the mountains. I also built other stuff too that I deleted, because it was too big. But, I also learned how to move the figures that you see i the top picture which is really cool. Finally, I added in a colored light to set the mood in the pictures and a sky for the top picture too.
