Demo Reel

Hello fellow viewers again. I have some very sad news. This will be my last post I will ever do. Because, after tomorrow. I will no longer have this class because I am a senior. So here I go about the demo reel. So, this is a collection of all the work that I have done this year and does include a few videos. I originally planned to make this on Cinema, but I forgot to save the project and I was almost done and decided to abandon the project. So I decided to use iMovie instead which turned out great. I compiled all my projects, videos, and animations to make a 3 minute video just for you guys. I hope you enjoy the work that I have done this year and goodbye. If you want to see how I did one of these projects, I have individual blog posts for each project that I have done this year. And don't forget too check out the other videos that I have done over the years and see how far I have come to this point. And I sign off, for now until I can make and share stuff again. But goodbye, for now!

Final Exam

Hello fellow viewers, this is my final exam. A cooku clock. I started on Friday last week and finished yesterday. This was very easy to build and animate as well. First, I made the body of the clock by using the pen tool on the new Cinema. I then made the the roof and the big triangle in the front using the pen tool as well. I then used a cube and a cylinder for the clock ticker at the bottom. I then made the clock face by using tubes and booles. I then put in the numbers on the clock face. And used cones and a capsule for the clock hands. I then made a boole with a cylinder for where the cooku goes and created a cube for the plank and then put in an ice cream cone model. I then animated it, by animating the ticker going back and forth every 20 frames. I then animated the minute hand moving to noon for the cooku to go off. I then animated the ice cream cone going back and forth just as the cooku would do on a real cooku clock. Thanks guys and my next post will be the demo reel.

Upcoming Demo Reel

Hello there, fellow viewers. I am back with an upcoming announcement, and that is a demo reel of all the work that I have done this year in an animation, showcasing my work. This picture may just look like a jumbled mess of random stuff that I merged. But, it is in fact all the projects that I have done this year, being animated to show off my work. It is not done yet, but will be by at least, Friday next week. If you look at the upper left corner, you can see two of the same project. That is because, that I am also remodeling the Thanksgiving Group Project, with pre-loaded models to make it better looking. I hope you tune in next week, because this will be my first animation ever. See you next week, goodbye.

Christmas Card

Hello fellow bloggers, I am very sorry that I haven't been posting, because I used the wrong blog along. If you see stuff that should be in other months, they were done in other months. Such as the Happy Halloween post and Happy Thanksgiving posts that were done in October and November. Anyways, happy December. This is the last month of 2016, before we say goodbye and say hello to 2017. But, this will be one of two posts this month. And this is the first one, a simple Christmas card, lets get on, shall we. So, I got the newest version of Cinema 4D, which is Cinema 4D 18. I played around ad am now used to it. But, I first created the snowman on the right by using spheres, and a pre-loaded carrot model. Next I tried to make a Christmas tree, but it was really hard, so I said "screw it." And just used a download from the internet. I then created the text MERRY CHRISTMAS. I then used pre-loaded gift box models and placed those under the tree. I then created an emitter to emit snowflakes in the picture view and then rendered using Global Illumination, which took 21 minutes to fully render. All right, now for the second post. I and my friend Eddie will create a Christmas scene of a family living room with a fireplace and Christmas tree included. This will be posted on the last day of the first term. Which for me, is December, 21. So I and Eddie will be hard at work next week and keep you updated on how it's going every week. So don't miss out, and expect it to be our best work. Anyways guys, goodbye and have a     Happy Holiday Season.

Thanksgiving Group Project.

Hello fellow viewers, I have returned with a special project just for you. It is a Thanksgiving scene. I and my friend Eddie have been working on this project for about three weeks now. And it is time to unveil it. Anyway, lets get started! First of all, I had the idea of making this and my friend went along with it. We then got approved and started building. I gave him first choice of what he wanted to do. He chose to build the room and everything in it. While, I would build all the stuff for the dinner. If you want to check out how Eddie did his part, check out his blog. But anyways, lets get digging. I first, built the plates and glasses using a bezier spline and a lathe nurbs. I then built the silverware which was the most difficult part of my part in the project. It doesn't look very good, but I did make as best as I could. I then started to make the food, by starting off with the squash soup. I created a bowl and then added a disk on the top to give the illusion of it full of liquid. I then made the glazed carrots from cubes.I then made te mash potatoes and gravy, put raised up the mash potatoes by editing the disk. I then made the dreaded cranberry sauce. I'm not offending any viewers who love canberry sauce. But, I used arrays to arrange the cranberries and it caused the computer to glitch out and I had to hide it from doing that while I worked with other stuff. I then made the pumpkin pie and put in a crust too. I then made the green bean casserole. Which I thought was going to be hard, but wasn't at all. I first created a cast iron pan. Put a disk in. Then used green cylinders as the green beans, and half cylinders for the onions. I then decided that this family was going to be vegetarian, so I made a tofu roll with cranberries inside. I then got Eddie's project and set the table with the food and everything. I had to scale some stuff up and down to get it right. I then rendered it with global illumination and turned it in. Thank you guys for supporting my blog and reading them. And have a safe and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Thanksgiving Group Project continued

Hello, fellow viewers. The Thanksgiving scene group project, is going excellent. I am almost done with making the objects that will be added to the scene. Today, I completed the cranberry sauce, that you see that bowl with the red stuff, has cranberries in it. And the mash potatoes the risen cream colored stuff in the bowl. I next will be doing the pumpkin pie, green bean cassorole, and the Turkey itself. This project will be posted next Friday. Hope to see what the final result is and don't miss it. Goodbye!

Thanksgiving scene group project

Hello, fellow bloggers. This week, I and my friend got approved to make a group project. And ours is a Thanksgiving dinner scene. He chose to make the room and the figures. I am building the stuff that will be added in, such as drinking glasses, dinner plates, silverware, and the food. As you can see, I only have the glasses, plates, and silverware done. I am currently working on the food and will post when everything is done. So, for the glasses, I used a lathe nurbs and lathe to create the glasses. And then added a hypernurbs to make the object smoother. I don't need to tell you, how I did the plates, because I used the same method to make the glasses. The silverware, however is interesting to how it was done. Instead of using the bezier spline, I instead used the cubic spline. I traced around the object and then scaled the objects up such as the spoon and fork. I then bent the front part to make it more usable in actuality. But it was really hard and stressful to make. Thanks guys, and I will have the completed scene and post it when it is done.
