New iphone design

Hello again, after two weeks of work, I have created another piece of art. This time it is product design and the product is a new iphone design. I like to call it iphone x, the x standing for experimental. I took inspiration from the iphone 6 and the android galaxy series of smart phones and created a whole new design. There are six rendered photos of the product showing the main features of the phone. Enough talk, I'll start explaining what each photo shows and the special feautures of the product. First, I took a flat 2D rectangle and added an extrude nurbs to make it 3Dimensional, unfortunately it was hollow on the inside, but had the shape I wanted the phone to be. I first added in all the main parts of the phone and then added detail later, along with textures and a floor, and a light. Each photo was also illuminated with a light rendering called global illumination.  But anyway, the first photo show the right side of the phone, including the power button and the simcard slot. The next photo, shows the left side of the phone with the volume buttons and the the switch to turn the ringer on, or off. The third photo is quite interesting and is the main feature of the phone. I acually came up with this idea myself. I thought about how sometimes the mouse on a computer is easier to use that a touch screen phone. So I put in a cursor with two buttons on the side. It works just like a mouse and allows you to click on stuff and copy and paste without using the two finger method on the regular iphone. The cursor allows you to use a mouse on the screen to make searching easier. The cursor and the buttons also allow you to enjoy a multitude of games that require a mouse on PC. The fourth photo shows the camera and a small speaker on the back. You are probably wondering where the flashlight is. The reason that there is no flashlight on the back, is because the flashlight is built in to the camera in order to save space. The fifth photo, shows a top view of the phone itself, including the speaker piece that is used in order to make phone calls, and the metal surrounding the glass screen. The final photo, shows the bottom part of the phone including the headphone jack, charging port, the five pointed screws, and the the two large bottom speakers.I hope that you enjoyed the creative and innovative design and please wait another two weeks for the next project. Until then, goodbye for now.

First Project editing a trailer

This week, I did some video editing and took a trailer and edited it to be my own. I took the launch trailer of World of tanks blitz and cut out the end and added gameplay of the m48 Patton. Which I feel complimants the most part of it. I used the program Adobe Premire, instead of Final Cut Pro, because the school liscense has expired. I took the two videos and merged them by taking the trailer's audio and video and just the video part of the gameplay. I used the razorblade tool to cut out parts of the trailer and gameplay video that were not needed. I then shortened the gameplay video to just include scenes the m48 Patton destroys a tank. And kept the audio from the end of the trailer to have a more dramatic effect. I hope you have enjoyed this, and the next post will be in two weeks.
